about.
I’m Isobelle Stothert, a hand weaver, florist, visual artist, amateur photographer, and lifelong plant nerd based in the Yorkshire Dales. My work draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the landscapes I call home and my travels to places like India and other cultures that celebrate vibrant colours, intricate designs, and craftsmanship.
With over 25 years as a florist and a decade as a hand weaver, I create pieces that reflect my love of nature and the artistic traditions I’ve encountered. Rooted in a love of detail, colour, and composition, my work aims to offer a fresh perspective, and I hope to invite others to experience nature in a new light. Whether handwoven textiles, floral designs, or photography, people often describe my work as ethereal and deeply connected to the world around us.
Thank you for visiting—step into my creative world and explore art inspired by the landscapes, plants, and cultures that inspire me.
